Nosey..wanna know what I'm reading??

Like if you know big rich and I, you will know that we are so into Vampires..not like infatuated, and not like we are into their whole blood sucking way, but it's much deeper then that...I guess the story line behind life, and living, and how some of them try to live with the curse..I guess it's easier to explain what we are into..like Buffy is a favorite..that whole story line, it's well written, there's a love story there...and like the Interview with a Vampire...Louie (played by Brad Pitt)spent MANY of years learning to live with the curse and hated what he had become, and he did not want to kill people and drink their blood, Blade is a favorite...he's considered to be a daywalker, his mother was bitten when she was pregnant with him, which made him able to walk in the daylight, and still have the perks of a vampire, their strength, but also their thirst. The movie mentions the different houses which are like Families of Pure breads, a society who exists among the humans,(Vamps who were born Vamps), but there's a difference in survival, and your place on the food chain, if you were a vampire due to being bit by another vampire. See the whole story of it all is what we are into..it's interesting to us...We've read many books, some Ann Rice stuff, James Lowder's Knight of the Black Rose, Aphrodite Jones's The Embrace: A True Vampire Story, and many others...but the Newest one is Stephanie Meyers Twilight Saga.

I cannot put it down...my friend Jill and I were talking about visiting Forks when we are done with the book..I'm so game..but you dont have to be into Vamps to enjoy this book...it's a love story! Like, you'll dig it fo'sho.

Jamba Maddness

Today was my Actual first day on the Job. I started at 5:30am and was pretty excited and awake. I tried to go to bed at a decent hour last night but it was not working, still, I was pumped and jazzed.
THERE I AM SPORTING MY JAMBA GEAR...I HAD THE BEST FIRST DAY EVER...I LOVE MY JOB, AND THE GIRLS I WORK WITH ARE FAB. HEALTHY JUICES IS THE IT THANG MAN! I HAVE ALSO
DEVELOPED A LIKING FOR WHEAT GRASS, WITH A SIDE OF ORANGE WEDGE..IF YOU HAVE NOT TRIED IT...YOU MUST!

I GET A FREE SMOOTHIE EVERY DAY THAT I WORK SO GREG AND I HAVE DECIDED TO ROTATE THE FREE DRINK...SO TODAY I BROUGHT IT HOME FOR HIM..HE LIKES THE PB MOOD..BUT I SUB OUT THE VANILLA YOGURT..FOR SORBET..WAY MORE HEALTHIER, LESS PB, AND MORE SOY...I LOVE MY JOB..SEE ME AND MY LITTLE LOGO?

Memorial Weekend

This weekend we spent some time speaking on behalf of the Fallen soldiers, the ones currently serving, and our country in general to our children. We shared our stories with them on what Big rich and his family did when they were young on Memorials day and what mine did. In Hawaii, we Always..always..always, go to the Laie Cemetary(which is right next to the Laie Temple) where both of my Grandparents are buried now, but at the time it was only Grandpa. We would spend the whole day there, grooming his gravesite, planting more flowers,and visiting with other families...and we celebrated that day in memory of our loved ones as well as the fallen soldiers who lost their lives while serving our Country. Both of our Fathers served in the millitary, one of my uncles, and I currently have a cousin who is high ranked, and I think she's like JAG or something, but yeah, it was nice to reflect and educate our children about this Holiday. Anyways for the most part we did lots of
HOUSE CLEANING....LOTS OF IT...WE ARE GETTING READY FOR OUR ANNUAL GARAGE SALE SO WE HAD TO THROW OUT LOTS OF GARBAGE, AND PART WITH CLOTHING AND MANY OTHER THINGS THAT HAVE JUST BEEN HANGING AROUND UN-NEEDED~

I'M REALLY PROUD OF US..WE WORKED AS A TEAM, TACKLE'N ONE ROOM AT A TIME..AND MAN I SOOOOOOOOOO COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MANY THINGS WE FOUND THAT HAVE BEEN M.I.A FOR SOMETIME, AND COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW MUCH OF PACK-RATS THESE KIDS ARE..THEY WANTED TO KEEP EVERY SINGLE PAPER FROM SCHOOL!! I ABOUT LOST IT, THANK GOODNESS WE ARE BUILDING A FIRE PIT.


I ALSO GOT TO MOW FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER...EVER..EVER IN MY LIFE..AND I FOUND IT RELAXING...YUP YUP..AND I DID PRETTY DARN GOOD...WE HAVE BEEN WORKING ON OUR YARD ALL WEEKEND..WE HAVE HAD OUR SECOND FIRE PIT FIRE AND ENJOYED SOME SMORES WITH THE
KIDS...I CANNOT WAIT TO FINISH IT...THIS IS WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE

May 17th was our daughters birthday ~Lanayia~ she is 9yrs old and we just love her to pieces. We took her to one of our Families many Fave Restaurants (Olive Garden) where they sang to her when we were done.
****HERE THEY ALL ARE SINGER TO OUR BIRTHDAY GIRL..SHE HAD NO IDEA THAT HER DAD HAD PRE-ARANGED IT..SHE THOUGHT WE DIDNT WANT TO MAKE A SCENE..SHE WAS SURPRISED AND WAS LOVING IT****


That really made her feel special. We did anything she wanted that day, and just tried to make her feel as Awesome as we could. You only turn 9 once. The kids got her a Hannah Montana outfit, daddy and I got her several different outfits and sandals,and bear gave her a Webkin,she loved that. Her cake was sinfully delicious, I also forgot the candle...so we used lukes #6 candle, and just told her it was an upside down 9..she knew we were kidding..but it was a great Family day. We got movies and junk food, and stayed up WAY late!

My Plans

Well its been a minute since my last entry..it's been crazy around here, and the weather has been beautiful so we have been outside enjoying it while it lasted. But I wanted to take a moment this early AM (5:11) to be exact to update everyone on whats going on. Yesterday I interviewed at Jamba Juice in Bonney Lake and was made the newest member of their employment Team, which I am so excited about. I will also be attending Pierce College as a full time student in June working towards my associates in nursing. No one is as EXCITED then my husband....I know since February, he has been worried about us landing on our feet again...or better yet, picking ourselves UP, and getting back on track with things...well mainly BILLS! He has been so patient with me, and importantly...SUPPORTIVE! I'm prepared to make this long and difficult haul though. I'm anxious and excited. So come and visit me at your Bonney Lake Jamba Juice, and dont forget to TIP your Juicers.

~~I love my Friends~~...I consider myself very lucky to have such Great and Wonderful friends who care as much about me as I do them, and who's positive influences make me want to do better and become better in all that I do. Each and everyone of them I hold dear in my heart and appreciate their friendship, love, and support. I look forward to our Thursday "KoKo-Ladies-NiTe" hangout time. It gives some of us piece of mind, a place to just chill and not worry about the Kid(s), time to catch up on whats happening, and most of all " Mommy Time / Personal Time ". It's a time where we don't have to worry about anyone else but us, and gosh knows that some of us NEED it more then others. It's Girl Time, girl talk, and appetizer's. The MEN in my LIFE

As each day passes, I see the growth in all of the Men in my Life. I can remember when their bonds were first established, and the first time Pulu called BiG rIcH daddy. Luke was 18 months old, and Pulu had just turned 3 when this picture was taken in Enumclaw at the Corldes old house where everything and anything happened. These 3 are the bestest of friends, and buddies for life. His sons are his everything, and he has molded them into the little dudes that they are today. He has so much influence on their lives, and is so excited to grow up with them. I see him in the both of them everyday..they are more and more like him, it's scary. They have his humor, his personality, his habits, and his CHARM..aside of their own as well, but they are definitely his SONS..no Doubt! My men..my 3 amigos.

~ he made me a Freak~

Most of us who are married or are in a relationship have something that our partner, or spouse got us into or introduced us to for the First time...like for example..I was not real big on Veggies before I met my husband..sure I prepared them for meals, and made the kids eat them, but I was not too hip on'em personally. That all changed though, I eat all kinds of veggies..even on my burgers..which I was always just a cheese burger kind of girl..but now I need the whole works and trimmings..I love peppers, onions, and Mexican..like I hated Mexican before him...NEways..so he rubbed off on me..one of the other things that I was introduced to was GARAGE SALES!...yup, I never went 2 them before..NEVER..no Joke! So at my very first sale, I was a rookie and would buy things at the asking price..he got sick of me spending all is $$dollar$$ bills, which is another GARAGE sale Must..YOU should always have plenty of ones..but he told me I have to start talking them down..so we got back into the car, and drove around trying to spot the next Sign..once we found one, he was like.." now watch the Master do it " sure enough, he was smooth..well he just said.."Will you take this much for it?" and BAM..the person was like.."SURE"..I thought I can do this..and instantly I was excited to try this Wheeling and Dealing out! I'm addicted..I love'em...lets just say I got good at it..and my $$dollar bills$$ last a lot longer then they did the first time. He turned me into a FREAK! If only that same tactic could work at department stores..man we would be set..can you imagine walking into Walmart and asking them if they would take $10 bucks for that lawn chair table? Yup, I'm a freak when It comes to a good garage sale, where the prices are right for used items.

Luau - ViKing sTyLe

Yesterday we attended the Bonney Lake Elementary School Luau. It was a blast..we hung out with the kids, their friends, our friends the Robisons & the Gates, and just enjoyed the celebration. I missed Bear a lot..she was at her girlfriends house for a sleep over birthday party, it's always different without her..it feels wierd..I think maybe it's because we need to pay more attention to wear the other 3 are, instead of just assuming their fine because we know she is over seeing them...I guess it's a good break for her to get away from us.
The party was typical..almost an excuse to just wear funny leis, colorful clothes, and just look like tourist..I was able to teach a little bit of hula..which by far was the only authentic Hawaiian thing there..other then the tiki man background decoration and some blow up palmtrees...I instructed the Huki Luau beginners dance, and was surprised by the participation of those in attendance..but everyone was in great spirits and joined in the old Tradition Luau Dance!
The most exciting thing about the evening was Luka winning the Kindergarten hula hoop contest and the Limbo challenge. He was excited and pumped about that!
We also got to witness Josh Gates break it down..as he reminded Jenny (his wife) about his smooth moves...as he was dancing..he kept asking her.."Remember this..remember that?"...it was comical and I should have recorded it. We had such a great time..it's always fun to attend these school functions..everyone was getting down..and busting a move..Leanivas absence was a dissapointment to alot of her friends..they all inquired about her where abouts..I guess because it's their last year there..because I'm sure they will not be attending the Luau next year...she'll be to Kool for that.
Well, that was our Friday nite..it was Awesome..we partied it up ViKing StYle!

Today is my Eldest Sister's Birthday...May Arango..and I cant remember how old she is...wait, let me do the math right quick.....35yrs old..and is a very hard worker. She lives in Portland with her husband and their 4 children. They both are currently working on getting their license to open up their own Home for the Mentally Disable, which is their field of employment at this time. She has always been an active member of our family..verbally..not really physically, but thats due to their work schedule..but she's outspoken, fun, and strong. Ball playing runs in our family, and she is always encouraging all OUR kids to play sports..or to at least try it...she's very supportive when it comes to her childrens supports, and PROUD...she use to play Professional Womens Football..and was a long time employee at Walmart until recently...JERKS! Well not really recently..but NEways..Happy Happy birthday sis..we love you and hope to see you soon!

~My First oNe~

Your first time for everything is very memorable..you remember your first bike..your first time at fun places..and your first kiss. First times are great..one of my favorite and memorable first time things, is when I had my very first CHILD! She came into this world on the 24th day of January, in 1997. She changed my life forever..she had a head full of black hair..and was a quiet one. I never had problems with her..she walked at 10 months..she potty trained easily and before 2yrs, and was just my awesomest little buddy. For the most part...we grew up together..I was only 18yrs old when I had this precious angel...and well, there were alot of times that it was just ...Her and I...I could not have asked for a better first one..nope..I guess that's why 3 more came. I was not the person I waned to be when I first had her. In fact..I never wanted children..I had never planned to have any kids while I was a teen and planning out my life and where I wanted to be..as a matter of fact Marriage, and a husband was never thought of either. Funny how that all changed...but I know that I failed at a lot of things while I was trying to raise this Beautiful, Baby of mine..who is now 11yrs old, but out of all my children..I remember our lives and struggles more then the others..I remember her coming into this world, taking her first breath, and being placed into my arms...I love you BEAR, and I pray that I will be that women that I have always wanted to be before you should have came..Thanks for being so Awesome, and helpful to your father and I..we really appreciate you!

I know it is no Secret..because I have said it more times then most..that I married my BEstEST Friend. He is the one that Heavenly Father made precisely for me..only me! Through everything, he has been the one there when the dust settled, and the smoked cleared...he has extended his arm to me many of times due to my unsuccessful attempts through life...passing no judgement! I knew I loved him, and wanted to be with him forever the first day I met him...it was MUTUAL..but he wanted me way Worst..he was gaga before I even said hello! We laugh hysterically when we talk about the first time...he never wanted me to leave him...I couldnt! I can still count how many times we have been away from each other on one hand. I 'm addicted to him..have been for years..which is funny..I would have thought that the FairY dust or the Magic Spell would have wore off by now..but after many of years..we are going strong..as if it was only yesterday that we had gotten together, and fell Madly, Deeply in love. I have a favorite spot that I love to kiss him on his face...besides his little Itty Bitty Betty Boop lips. It's my spot and when I'm mad or upset at him..it keeps me from my favorite spot..so argument dont last long between BiG RicH and I..dont get me wrong..we have our moment..him more then I (hehehe)..but we made a promise to each other that our bickering, disagreements,and argument CANNOT exceed an hour..it sounds cheese ballish, but it's true...and we understand that you have to get things out, vent, and just be RAAAAA! at times..but the longer you stay mad at each other..less time we have to hold one another, and kiss each er other, and just be happy..to us..it's not worth it! My favorite place to be in the world is in his ARMS..and being mad at him only keeps me from there....
I'm counting down the days when I said I do to my Irish Prince..
and I know that we will share many more years together...he's my buddy..and my best friend...through everything we have been through..our love has survived it all..for those of you who are close to myself and BiG RicH..ya'll know what I mean..there were so many he doubted us..who left our lives..who never understood our Love, and just saw what the WORLD wanted them too see...or judged before really getting to know me..but that's all in the past..what matters is, we are coming up to another year..and it so feels like many more..but it will only get better! I love you BiG RicH..and here's to us! (cheers)
