off with OLD, change to the NEW

I love change! The same hair style over and over again..will just get old to me...well, I dont mean that in a bad way..but I like mixing things up! I am not one of those people who can have that same look...one style..it's just not my personality. I like change! So, I decided to redo my kitchen. The last theme was Asian, and everything was was either Chinese, Japanese, or Korean...but it was all geared towards the Asain them. This motife is Country...So my husband sanded the cupboards down and painted them an antique white...and painted my kitchen a Bavarian Oak...since I had to start from the beginning again I had to do a lot of SHOPPING..which has been fun!

Ok so my favorite quote by Gandhi is centered under the Antique Clock...which I love, and the knobs on the cupboard was all me..I bought a whole bag of 22 at a garage sale for like $2 bucks..then we matched a can of glossy spray paint to the Bavarian Oak, and sprayed them all down, and finished them w/a sealer..I love it!

The shadow box is Greg's Great Grandparents. It totally fit with the whole theme..so it's cute that they are looking down on us in the kitchen.
I know I have a better picture of that.

here is more of the decor...I love the country theme a lot...it's so homely feeling.

I'm totally crunching the Bavarian Oak..and up against the washed white it really makes that counrty wood look come out!

The window is still not finished..I'm debating on leaving the blinds off, and just going with a curtain..or installing them again..I'm thinking the blinds dont go with counrty..but we'll see!

These were painted especially for the kitchen.
This pic shows the old cupboards and new ones. I so love them white.

My future

So in Case any of you haven't been updated on my JOB status...I have completed my management training, and have been HIGHLY recommended for the AGM position here in Bonney Lake. I cracked open this fortune on the 20th, at the JASMINE Mongolian grill at the Commons Mall while having dinner w/Team Rich. Both Greg and I have been blessed w/ opportunities within our companies to make more money within weeks of each other...his boss had told him just last week that he was GOLD..and that he is such an asset to the company, and how his department has continued to contribute a large portion of the profit. Can you imagine our surprise when he opened his fortune cookie and it read this.........

So needless to say, It's all good ova here! I'm so proud of my husband...he has put in a lot of sweat, and hard work into this company. I'm excited for him to become the next Program Manager for one of the Biggest Vendors for Microsoft. My boo is going on 8 good, but long years there. He started off in the warehouse, then a tech, to a lead, and about 2 years ago, he was promoted to the Supervisor..and now, he will soon have to go everyday in business attire..rolling as the Program Manager! Scared of you babe!

I love my Life!

Doing the Puyallup

$1 Rides - Yippeee

We love doing the Puyallup, especially on the 1 ticket per ride day. When you have a team size like ours...it just makes more sense to go on this day. Dude, the kids rode rides until 10pm...no joke...and it didnt even break the bank.

Every year we do the Spring Fair fo'sho. This last spring, Luke was still a little to short for the Adult rides...and he was even too big for some of the lil'tike rides...which was a bummer....so that was mainly why we wanted to do the Puyallup this year!

Here is TR awaiting to ride the Starship. Can you see how excited everyone is?

There were a few other mothers next to me waiting for their children, so we got talking about this ride, and I shared with them about this being Luka's first time..so we were all pretty anxious to see his reaction to it all!

Wow..right after this ride..this Kid was talking 100 mph..excited 2 C which ride we are going 2 next..this is a whole new ball game for him. Another step into becoming a big boy...now the next thing we need to do is get him into boxer briefs from those tighty whitey spongebob, spiderman, builder bob lil'boy undies.

The lines were not very long when we got there! The kids waited maybe that one turn, and then they were on. Later in the evening is when the lines got longer, and for certain rides..but for the most part..TR was blowing through this park like a whirlwind.

Okay here they are on the Scrambler

There they are getting scrambled...like a bunch of eggs...hehehe

Looking at our childrens faces took me back to when I use to enjoy these rides..but as an adult...nah..there are some that I could careless if I ever go on them again..not Rich though..he loves'em.

The Paratrooper! I dont enjoy heights very much..actually I dont enjoy heights at ALL..I dont think our son Naki does either..of course he wont admit that...because when the kids decided on this ride..he declined!

La Tres Loco Amigo's

While they were riding the Paratrooper, Bull asked his dad to ride the Kersplash with him..so they went and stood in line for that.

So luka's riding with no interuptions to his height finally came to a halt! He was too short by a few inches to go on the Kersplash with the girls.

While the 4 of them were all waiting to ride Kersplash, I took luka to get him a Cow Chip..this dude was no longer sulking about that ride, he was chilled & excited that he got to have a cow chip all to himself..and he didn't have to share it with anyone.

There they go..heading up Kersplash

Thats them coming down.

Here goes Bear & Lou..It seems like just the other day they were 2 lil'girls..now there all grown up and riding rides w/out daddy or mommy.

"Hang on Girls!"

Our night had only just begun...the smell of all the Great and Yummy food was calling my name. Thank goodness that a bunch of my girlfriends and I are starting our diet for the wedding in January. It's a $20 buy in..and the winner takes it all...the person who loses the most by September..so there is 9 of us..cha-ching!

YOU DONT KNOW!

YOu may think you know what is going on with me but...You dont know! You want to assume it's one thing...but You dont know! You honestly think your demons are mine...your weakness is mine...but you dont know. You got it all wrong. I'm not like you...I'm not WEAK:

weak Definition
weak (wēk)

adjective

lacking in strength of body or muscle; not physically strong
lacking vitality; feeble; infirm
lacking in skill or strength in combat or competition a weak team
lacking in moral strength or willpower; yielding easily to temptation, the influence of others, etc.
lacking in mental power, or in the ability to think, judge, decide, etc

There are roads I took in life that I will never go down again...and I haven't..you may, that's why you are WEAK!
You want something like that to be the case in my absence at things...but you dont know..you have no clue. This is you:

Insecure

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not secure; not confident of safety or permanence; distrustful; suspicious; apprehensive of danger or loss.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not effectually guarded, protected, or sustained; unsafe; unstable; exposed to danger or loss.

You dont know..You have no clue..it's pretty simple though...I'm tired! No other excuse! Distracted by family functions....lazy sometimes..but that's it! You always appear to want something to be wrong with folks...something so that you can apply your WISDOM, & SUGGESTIONS to a more HAPPIER life..but really..really!
I'm stronger then you think...nothing else keeps me away but the reason I stated above..things I need to work on is finding the strength, not being lazy...but once again..you dont know that..and there is a reason why you dont know.
You, think...but you dont know...I'm nothing like you...Keep your DEMONS...their not MINE!

Magic Moments

It's magically funny, when you feel as if you have known someone your whole life, but you had just met them yesterday. I met Michele at Jamba Juice as the GM (General Manager) when she hired me on has a Team Member. We both hit it off, it was magical, our relationship has grown tremendously since May. It feels as if I have known her forever we can relate to each other, she has already been there for me through emotional times, and the most important thing is that she makes me want to be a better person. She is just freaking awesome. I have never known anyone like her.

Here we all are on my Birthday...there is the Andersons, Burkholders and Us. Kristy is another one that I hit it off with. She is amazing. She is such good peeps that I trust her with my life completely...drama free..that's what I need. I never knew someone who is way before their time like kristy. She smart, and intelligent & just caring.

It's amazing to meet new people and have that connection. I just love my life, and all those who are in it.

Looking Forward

Team Rich is sooooo excited for this day. We all have been sharing our thoughts and input about it all. The boys said they wanted to carry the rings, and they wanted to do this and that. Bear is excited the most. I had asked her to be one of my brides maids, and she just teared up and started balling! You think she was happy??? I told her that I took that as a yes. From the year 2006 when we were sealed as a family, I just knew that our kids TEAM RICH (I alway reffer to them as that) would always be a close and tight unit. We are TEAM RICH because the word team just says it all for us. There is no "I" in team...and in our family, it's about US!

I could not ask for a better bunch. My husband is Amazing, and he makes our lives so enjoyable, fun, exciting, and GREAT!
I joke around about him buying the most expensive love potion from a Witch Dr. that he drops in my drink every day, because every day, I wake up more and more in love..and it is like cloud 9, and it is almost non-existant...most people wouldn't believe what we have..sure there are moments..but they are not like SOME! Our moments dont last long...our marriage has though, and it has been the best 6 years of my ENTIRE life...if these first 6 our like this..I look forward to the next 20.

The Location

Like every couple who is about to take that step into marriage, there is always a budget. So shopping around for a place was going to be the hardest part for me....so I thought! Lucky for us, I have lots and lots of school friends who are still local, and that I am amazingly still goooood friends with(LOL). So one of my girlfriends suggested we check out The Hansens Place, which is where she was recently married last Winter because they are very inexpensive and the best part...LOCAL!

They are located in Sumner, which is 8 minutes down the road from Team Rich Estates, and their prices are very, very reasonable! So Rich and I have been in contact with the facilities manager, and have arranged a personal tour next week.
If all goes well, and the location seems large enough to accomodate our special day, a deposit will be put down for it. The deposit is non-refundable..it goes towards the total of the renters fee for the facility..so we are pretty much locked in after that..hehehe!

~~SOULMATES~~

Planning our Vow Ceremony & Reception has been amazing. I so cannot wait 2 marry him all over again. Our special day consist of 6 of our closes friends(12), 1-lady in waiting w/an usher, and 3 flower girls. Arrangements have already been made for the photographer, baker, preacher, decorations, colors, and I hope in a week we will have the location finalized.
Right now my maid of honor and I are trying to decide on dresses.

DRESS #1

I LIKE THIS ONE ALOT. THIS HAS TO BE MY FAVORITE ONE BUT THERE IS SO MANY. OUR COLORS ARE BROWN/GOLD/ORANGE-FALL COLORS...AND WHITE..

DRESS #2

I LIKE THIS ONE AS WELL...I THINK IF WE GO WITH THIS ONE, THE GUYS WILL BE IN WHITE TUX'S W/MATCHING TIE..NOT BOW TIES..RICH HATES BOW TIES.

DRESS #3

THIS ONE IS GOLD..THIS COLOR IS AMAZING NEXT TO BROWN..IT REALLY DOES SAY FALL ALL OVER IT.

DRESS #4

THIS HAS GOT TO BE MY FAVORITE GOLD ONE...THEY ARE LIMITED ON SIZES WHICH IS THE ONLY BAD THING..SO I FIRST NEED TO FIND OUT MY MAIDS SIZES BEFORE SELECTING THIS ONE..THIS IS THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT THIS DRESS..BUT REST ASSURE..IF THERE IS SIZES FOR ALL OF THEM..IT WILL BE A TOSS UP BETWEEN DRESS #1, AND THIS ONE.

The both of us are way excited. Rich has been more involved with the planning then I expected. There will be a mixture of cultures. He is going to start working out and getting in shape for this so that he will look FINE & HANDSOME in his traditional Kilt Tux along with his best man (His brother) and Father.
