Viking Carnival 5-30

It's the BLE Annual School Carnival, and the children made sure to add it to our Calendar. We have been attending them since 2004 and we made sure not to miss this one in particular. This year is Bears last Carnival that she will WANT to attend..notice I said want. It's her last year as a Viking so it was a Must that we let her do that whole "It's been Great, but I'm moving on" type thing. All the 5th graders that were there walked a little taller, and strutted more of a, "I'm cool" king of walk then they did last year...probably because it's like their Senior year, and the last year they can feel in charge, because next year, they will be the baby of the Bunch!

It's funny to think that all of our kids will be attending school full time next year. Luka is not to thrilled about that, but Lou will be in the 3rd Grade, Bull will be in the 2nd and lukie will be in the 1st grade. Wow, time sure does fly!

You know we have been attending these things for so long that we noticed that this year, they were being a little tight on handing out tickets for prizes..it was almost impossible to get one Blue ticket to redeem for prizes..it was not just me that noticed that, a few other parents did as well...but they kids still enjoyed themselves! I was glad because at the end when it's time to turn in the tickets for stuff, it went by so much smoother and faster. We were not in there for an hour.
